Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Counselling
Imagine sitting down with someone who truly listens and helps you work through your challenges. That’s what Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) offers, a practical, goal-oriented approach where we team up to spot negative thought patterns and behaviours, and work on changing them together. It’s especially helpful if you’re dealing with anxiety or depression.
Psychotherapy is a general term to describe psychological therapy, the overall practice of talking-based therapy for mental health and emotional difficulties. It integrates different types of therapies. Paula integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Neuroscience, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Counselling, on the other hand, feels more like an open conversation. You get to talk about your feelings and experiences face-to-face with Paula, who is trained to listen and support you. It’s less about fixing something specific and more about understanding yourself, finding clarity, and getting the emotional support you need for personal growth.
