Treatment: Children & Young Adults
Counselling, CBT and psychotherapy for children, teenagers, and young adults provide a safe, supportive, and confi-dential space to explore the emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges that can arise during these impor-tant stages of life.
Using an integrative approach, therapy may include evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness/ medita-tion, tailored to the individual’s needs. These approaches help young people gain greater insight into their emotions, learn how to regulate them more effectively, and develop clearer, more confident ways of communicating. Alongside managing stress, anxiety, and emotional changes, therapy supports the development of practical strategies and tools, building resilience, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of self to help them navigate their world with greater confi-dence and balance.
